Breathwork is a name used to cover the practice of using your breath to help control your state and mind.
We have our autonomic system ('flight or flight' and 'rest and digest') controlled by our Vegus nerve to invoke our parasympathetic (rest) or sympathetic (fight or flight) and with simple techniques you can influence your body into these states, to either energise or calm in a controlled way.
