2020 has been quiet a year we can all agree! Lots of challenges and for some opportunity for change.
I have always been passionate about my work and home life finding balance. I worked for 12 years in a large retail business in the UK and loved my time there. Gradually I found stresses added up in life, things came about I needed to manage and my attention was captured by mindfulness. There was one simple session that changed my thinking.
Mindfulness was a moment to stop with my mind, something I realised I hadn't done in a while, and the release of stress and tension was huge! I continued to explore and still do. Now my passion is to keep spreading the practice and techniques I believe everyone can benefit from, and grow, by simply taking ten minutes of stillness to reflect and witness your own emotions and thoughts to be able to take control.
With these techniques, using breathing to control your state, you can switch your modes and not just manage, but flourish.
I am passionate about Breathing Space, never have I started something from scratch that i truly believe in. Just 10 minutes in a day can change your life and help you and those around you thrive, support your mental health and fitness, and allow you to perform in all areas of life.
